This term, we welcome a new superintendent to this district, Dr. Bobbie Plough.  We are grateful to her and the Santa Clara Unified School District for continuing to value adult education.

 

In other news, the Adult School Campus is certainly buzzing these days.  Classes in all of our programs are thriving despite ongoing budget reductions and campus construction.  We are excited that modernization of our campus is moving at a rapid pace and is scheduled to be completed by Winter of 2013.  We will have a new pool with a new heating and filteration system. We would like to thank all of our loyal aquatics students for weathering the fluctuating temperatures these last few years.  It will be a state-of-the-art pool when completed in April of 2012!

 

We have also begun construction on classrooms 40-51. Those rooms will have new windows, doors, carpets, paint, heating and air conditioning.  The bathrooms will also be modernized.

 

We are not anticipating any change in our business due to construction so we encourage you to browse through our catalog and enroll in classes.  Everything we read these days tells us how important it is to stay intellectually stimulated and physically active. Adult Education classes can provide that opportunity as well as a low-cost alternative to other entertainment options.  Why not think of giving a gift certificate for a class as a holiday gift to a friend or family member this season?
