The mission of Santa Clara Adult Education is to empower adults of all ages and abilities to succeed in an ever-changing world.
Message from the Director Winter 2016
This continues to be an exciting and busy time for Adult Education. Within the last
8 years adult schools have gone from the depths of despair to the heights of collaboration
and rejuvenation. Throughout the state of California, K-12 adult education
districts have joined with Community College districts to leverage resources
and improve education. Joining forces with our region’s adult schools and community
colleges has accelerated Santa Clara Adult Education’s quest to improve and
expand opportunities for education and workforce training. We continue to take
pride in providing opportunities for you to get a high school diploma or equivalency,
improve English Skills, learn techniques to help your child in school, gain career and
technical education skills, and enhance your personal growth.
Our adult school is fortunate to be part of the Santa Clara Unified School District,
and we are grateful for the value the school board and administration places on the
services we offer to the district and this community.
With warm regards,
Kathy Martarano, Director
