ESL Classes

- Would you like to communicate more easily with your child’s teacher?
Santa Clara Adult Education offers a variety of classes to meet your needs. We have free Beginning through Advanced ESL classes for adults. These ESL classes are for students who want to go to college, get a job, or be active in their communities. Classes provide practice in speaking, listening, reading and writing.
We also have classes offered through a partnership with Mission Community College. Special classes are also offered for a fee.

When are the classes?
- 2-4 mornings per week 9:00 am – 11:30 am
- 2-3 evenings per week, 6:30 pm – 9:00 pm
What levels are available?
- Beginning Literacy / Beginning Low – Level 1
- Beginning Low / Beginning High – Level 2
- Beginning High / Intermediate Low – Level 3
- Intermediate Low / Intermediate High – Level 4
- Intermediate High/ Advanced – Level 5
How do I sign up?
New students and students who have left our school for more than 6 months must register to take a placement test. Please call us at (408) 423-3500 to be placed on the waitlist for the next placement test.
