    Mission Statement

The mission of Santa Clara Adult Education is to empower adults of all ages and abilities to succeed in an ever-changing world

    Dear Community Members,

It is my honor to serve as the new Director of Educational Options, overseeing the Adult Education Program within Santa Clara Unified School District.

I am excited to lead an organization that has a long history of outstanding service to the community, a strong reputation as an institution of teaching and learning, and a team of talented staff. The goal of Adult Education – to prepare students of all ages and abilities
to be successful in college, career, and life – resonates with me personally and professionally.
As a lifetime learner, I have a genuine appreciation for the importance of education as a “key” to opening doors to opportunities for all students. Additionally, my background as a social worker, alongside my experience as a school administrator, has sharpened my commitment to equity, access and the importance of providing outstanding educational options for every student. Our Adult Education Program is exceptionally designed to open doors by offering a wide range of high caliber classes, including: enrichment, fitness and health, Career and Technical, English as a Second Language, and many others.
During the 2017-18 school year, our Adult Education Program will continue to promote innovation, collaboration and high merit programs to serve diverse populations of students. We will be deepening collaborations with our community college partners to build seamless pathways between adult school, community colleges and beyond. Additionally, our new Parent Resource Center on campus is a valuable resource to families in need of support. I invite you to stop by to learn more about our Adult Education Program!
