English Classes
Are you a recent immigrant and want to learn how to speak English? Do you want to improve your English to get a better job?
Santa Clara Adult Education offers a variety of classes to meet your needs. We have free English classes for adults, Levels 1- 5. These English classes are for students who want to go to college, get a job, or be active in their communities. Classes provide practice in speaking, listening, reading and writing.
We also have free classes offered through a partnership with local community colleges. Please take a look at all of the classes listed below, and decide what’s right for you!
Registration Opens January 26th
The next registration will be on January 26, 2026 at 8:00 am.
- Students can register online or in person for a Placement Test.
- Registration opens at 8:00am.
- The testing date will be assigned during registration.

When are classes offered?
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday: 9:00 am – 11:30 am
- Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday: 6:30 pm – 9:00 pm
